Owner’s obligations:

You must present the unserviceable tyre and a copy of your proof of purchase date to a participating Titan or Goodyear Farm Tire dealer. Tyres replaced on an adjustment basis become the property of Titan.

No claim will be recognised unless submitted on a Titan claim form (to be supplied by the Titan or Goodyear Farm Tire dealer).

Safety warnings

Serious injury or death may result from:

  • Tyre failure due to under inflation/overloading – always follow the vehicle owner’s manual or tyre placard in vehicle.
  • Explosion of tyre/rim assembly due to improper mounting – only specially-trained persons should mount tyres.
  • Failure to deflate single or dual assemblies completely before demounting.

Who’s eligible?

You are eligible for the benefits of this adjustment policy if:

  • You are the original owner or authorised agent of the original owner of new Titan or Goodyear-branded agricultural tyres acquired; (1) as OE tyres on new equipment or (2) from an authorised Titan or Goodyear agricultural tyre dealer.
  • Your tyres bear legible Department of Transportation prescribed tyre identification numbers and are not branded ‘NA’ (Not Adjustable).
  • Your Titan or Goodyear-branded agricultural tyres have been used only on the vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle manufacturer’s or Titan’s recommendations.
  • Your tyres were purchased on or after January 1, 2006.

What’s covered and for how long?

Free tyre replacement

Titan or Goodyear-branded radial rear farm tyres that become unserviceable due to a covered warranty condition during the first twelve months of service will be replaced with a comparable new Titan or Goodyear-branded tyre without charge. If proof of purchase is not available to establish time in service, the tyre date of manufacture will be used.

All other Titan or Goodyear-branded agricultural and construction tyres that become unserviceable due to a covered warranty condition during the first twelve months of service or 25% tread wear, whichever comes first, will be replaced with a comparable new Titan or Goodyear-branded tyre without charge except Single Rib, Triple Rib and Super Rib tyres**. If proof of purchase is not available to establish time in service, the tyre date of manufacture will be used.

The no charge provision includes normal mounting and service charges for rear farm and large Terra-Tyre® high-flotation tyre.

* The no charge provision for front farm tyre includes mounting charges only.
*Large Terra-Tyre® high-flotation tyres are defined as those tyres listed as HF1, HF2, HF3 or HF4 tyres.

Prorated tyre replacement

Tyres beyond the free tyre replacement period will be replaced with a comparable new Titan or Goodyear-branded agricultural tyre on a pro rata basis. In the United States and Canada, the customer charge will be calculated by multiplying the customer’s normal buying price, current at the time of adjustment, by the percentage determined from the ‘Agricultural tyre chart for warranty charges’ as shown below.

Agricultural tyre chart for warranty charges

What’s a comparable tyre?

A ‘comparable’ new Titan or Goodyear-branded agricultural tyre may either be the same line of tyre or, in the event that the tyre is not available, a tyre of the same basic construction and quality with a different sidewall or tread configuration. If a higher-priced tyre is accepted as replacement, the difference in price will be at an additional charge to you.

Any replacement tyre provided pursuant to this Protection Plan will be covered by the Titan Protection Plan in effect at the time of replacement.

What’s not covered by this adjustment policy?

Radial rear farm tyres purchased under this adjustment policy and presented for adjustment more than eight (8) years after date of purchase.

All other agricultural tyres purchased under this adjustment policy and presented for adjustment more than six (6) years after date of purchase.

If proof of purchase is not available, the tyre date of manufacture will be used to determine the time in service and used to calculate the applicable pro rata charge.

Irregular wear or tyre damage due to:

  • Impact breaks, cuts, snags or machinery.
  • Wreck, collision or fire.
  • Improper inflation, overloading, misapplication, misuse, negligence, racing or pulling contests, speed, rim condition, chain damage, improper mounting or demounting or improper repair
  • Mechanical condition of the vehicle.
  • Material being added to a tyre after leaving a factory producing Titan or Goodyear-branded tyres (e.g. tyre fillers, sealants, or balancing substances). If the added material is the cause of the tyre being removed from service, the tyre will not be adjusted.

In no event shall Titan be responsible for any liability for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of vehicle, incidental or consequential damage resulting from the failure of a tyre for any reason, to the extent permitted by law.

What are your legal rights?

No representative or dealer has authority to make any representation, promise, or agreement on behalf of Titan, except as stated herein.

Any tyre, no matter how well constructed, may fail in service or otherwise become unserviceable due to conditions beyond the control of the manufacturer. This adjustment policy is not intended as a representation that a tyre failure cannot occur.

Titan disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.

Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This adjustment policy gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province.

When does the adjustment policy end?

A tyre has delivered its full original tread life and this warranty ends when the tread is worn to 2/32nds of an inch, or the tyre exceeds the time limitations described in this policy. In all cases, without proof of purchase, date of tyre manufacture will be used to determine age.
